Dick Smith's main interest is in UNIX and networks. He has been active in these areas since 1983. He is especially interested in computer and network security. Currently working on Oracle Cluster with high speed private network and ISCSI Protocol. Also VMWare ESX Server on 2 Intel Quad Core systems.

Dick Smith officially retired effective July 2, 2004, so links to his Web Camera in his office have been removed.
